The amount of bacteria on a petri dish is measured before testing. Then air comes from hand dryer will contact the petri dish for 20 seconds, which is longer than the average drying time for a high speed hand dryer. The result shows bacteria on the petri dish decreased rather than spread after using the hand dryer.

The hand dryer was put in a test chamber, where the amount of bacteria was measured. After one-hour testing, the number of bacteria inside the chamber was minimalized. The result shows a hand dryer that is equipped with HEPA filter can eliminate over 99.9% of bacteria.

The hand dryer was put in a test chamber, to which particles were intentionally inserted and mixed with the air. After one-hour testing, the number of bacteria inside the chamber was minimalized. The result shows a hand dryer that is equipped with HEPA filter can eliminate over 99.9% of PM2.5.

Except for the HEPA filter, there’s some optional hygienic features that can be added to our EcoHygiene ADA hand dryer. First is a UVC LED light to disinfect inside of the hand dryer and make sure only clean and fresh air is blown. Another hygienic feature is an anti-bacteria coating on the hand dryer cover, we use silver ion technology to keep the EcoHygiene hand dryer cover free from bacteria.
