Are Your Soap Dispensers and Hand Dryers Recyclable?
Hand dryer and auto soap dispenser industry is also facing the trends of green products and the stresses of the scarce of resources. One of the international standards for the recyclable rate is WEEE (Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment). As noted on another article, WEEE mandates the treatment, recovery and recycling of electric and electronic equipment. For hand dryers and auto soap dispensers, the recycle and reuse rate has to be higher than 55%, and the recovery rate should be at least 75%.

Recycle, Recovery and Reuse Rate of Hand dryer:
The major materials for a hand dryer are metal, plastic and electronic components. Except for a few rubber and materials that can be degraded overtime, other parts are all recyclable, reusable or recoverable.
The average recovery rate of our hand dryer is 97.5% which is 22.5% higher than the standard. The reuse and recycling rate is 35.8% higher. These materials will not be wasted after the hand dryers are replaced/dissembled.
Recycle, Recovery and Reuse Rate of Auto Soap Dispenser:
The major materials for an auto soap dispensers are also metal, plastic and electronic components. We have different cover designs such as plastic for HK-SSD soap dispenser, and stainless steel for HK-MSD2 soap dispenser or the ABS plastic and stainless steel for HK-MSD1 soap dispenser. Also, we don’t use any paints or chromed process to ensure the materials can be reused easily.
The average recovery rate of our auto soap dispenser is 99.6% which is 24.6% higher than the standard. The reuse and recycling rate is 40.8% higher. These materials will not be wasted after the sensor soap dispensers are dissembled.
